Microsoft BizSpark: USF CONNECT has partnered with Microsoft to offer Microsoft BizSpark, a new program that unites startups with global entrepreneurial and technology resources, with a common goal of supporting and accelerating the success of a new generation of high-potential startups. 
BizSpark is uniquely designed to help startups engaged in software development to jump start their business by providing them with “express access” to Microsoft tools and technologies, for their immediate use in design, development, testing, demonstration, and hosted application production and deployment.

Florida High Tech Corridor-USF CONNECT Industry Seed Grants: Florida-based technology companies partnering with USF faculty are eligible to request Florida High Tech Corridor matching funds.  The Florida High Tech Corridor was established by the State Legislature in 1996 to attract, retain and grow high tech industry and to help develop the workforce to support those industries in the 23-county service areas of the University of South Florida, University of Central Florida and the University of Florida. 
 
TBTI Shared Facilities: Shared laboratory facilities provide technology businesses with access to critical research equipment that would otherwise be cost-prohibitive to most start-up companies.   
 
SBIC Business Advising Appointments: The Hillsborough County Small Business Information Center is available for on site  one-on-one business advising sessions.
 
USF CONNECT Innovation thru Entrepreneurship Boot Camp: Learn from the experts on what it takes and means to be an entrepreneur. Attendees will learn the in’s and out’s of starting a business, building a successful business team, understanding legal issues, developing marketing strategies, corporate structure and obtaining funding and financing.
