Our mission at USF CONNECT is to deliver a wide range of business development services to technology businesses throughout the Tampa Bay region and State of Florida. USF CONNECT provides a single point of contact for businesses seeking resources such as technology transfer, financing, marketing and management.
USF CONNECT views technology transfer in its broadest sense as the transfer and exchange of knowledge and ideas between parties above and beyond intellectual property...it is a two-way iterative process. USF CONNECT strives to enhance opportunities for technology transfer by becoming a true partner with private industry and government through access to world-class research at USF and the Tampa Bay Technology Incubator through our Colleges and Centers of Excellence.
USF CONNECT is the leader in entrepreneurship in the Tampa Bay region through its business programs and partnership development. We focus on the needs of Tampa Bay's entrepreneurs at all stages of the business life cycle. We add value and deliver targeted, high-level expertise when your business needs it most.
USF CONNECT has a network of local serial entrepreneurs and service providers such as bankers, attorneys and mentors that can provide insight to local entrepreneurs by sharing what it takes to build a successful business. USF CONNECT offers relocation assistance in partnership with local economic development organizations whether there is interest at one of the USF Research Parks or a remote site.
USF CONNECT works closely with Enterprise Florida, the economic development authority for the State of Florida, and particularly with Hillsborough and Pinellas Counties and the cities of Tampa and St. Petersburg. All of these entities were instrumental in assisting USF CONNECT in locating Draper Laboratory's BioEngineering Program in our Tampa and St. Petersburg incubators.
